Goals and Objectives for 2009-2010

GOAL # 1 – Increase Church School growth in the local church by 50% for the conference year.

Objectives:

v    Continue making visits to local church schools to make assessments.

v    Provide Superintendents and local Pastors with Evangelism tools for increasing Parents/Community and Church School growth.

v    Encourage Superintendents and teachers to attend leadership trainings.

v    Establish and encourage active cluster participation quarterly.

GOAL # 2 – Increase leadership Church School support in the local church to 70%.

Objectives:

v    Invite Pastors/other leaders of churches to monthly meetings.

v    Encourage Pastors to teach one class a month/rotate among classes.

v    Have One meeting a year with Elder/Pastors/leaders/teachers.

v    Encourage creativity with materials/structure of Church School.

GOAL # 3 – Increase diversity of Church School.

Objectives:

v    Institute quarterly Spanish training sessions.

v    Invite other ethnic groups to Church School.

v    Provide transportation where needed, requested or allowed.

v    Have a Saturday Church School/Event focused on ethnic diversity.

GOAL # 4 – Retain the church school participants that attend Church School Convention.

Objectives:

v    Document the personal information of participants and keep in contact.

v    Invite participants to other special events of the Church School.

v    Increase participation at Church School Convention by at least 5 per church.
